Kahapon I had my usual afternoon PE class, which was basketball...we lost our game, tapos di man lang ako naka shoot, I mean, kahit isa for the ENTIRE summer class di man lang ako naka shoot. I knew I was bad at basketball (actually, kahit anong sports naman eh), pero I was hoping talaga na I could at least make one point. That never happened, kaya na-depress naman ako. Sobrang sad ko kaya nun, feeling ko tuloy ako si Charlie Brown (si Charlie Brown kasi, always depressed kasi he always loses sa mga baseball games nila and he never catches the ball, tuloy ayaw nung mga tao sa kanya, mas magaling pa si Snoopy maglaro kaysa sa kanya). I was slowly making my way along Forbes (papunta sa bahay nila Trixie dahil bibili ako fish sa kanya) when I felt someone pinch my arm, turns out it was my PE teacher!!! He was really nice, and we had the usual small talk ('san po kayo papunta?'-stuff like that, hehe). I asked him about my grade, kasi feeling ko mababa ako (I've scored 0 points diba?) and then he said not to worry. Magaling naman daw ako, dahil he sees me running around and stuff (yun lang kasi kaya ko eh...hehe) and minsan nakukuha ko naman yung rebounds and steals. When he said that, I felt super great!!! As in!!! Kasi my whole life I've never had someone compliment me on my athletic abilities,and that I always get low grades in PE, even since grade school, I have the lowest grades in class (ang sad noh???). Kaya nung pagpunta ko kay Trixie I was all smiles and I was super happy...hehe :) Bukas, last meeting na namin, and after that, freedom!!! For three weeks!!! Yehh!

Anyway, last week, I bought the whole dvd set of Space Sheriff Shaider, and I was extremely pleased with my purchase, kasi I no longer have to wait every Saturday to see it. Pinanood ko siyang lahat (48 episodes in three days) and it was such a great experience! Ang cool kasi nung show, great special effects (kahit luma na siya), yung stories very wholesome and full of morals for kids, and kasi, cute si Shaider, ehehehe. Not bad looking at all, kasi yung mga predecessors nung show niya (the previous Space Sheriffs, Gavan and Sharivan) ang pangit nila! Anyway, basta cool yung Shaider :) Pero sayang, patay na pala yung actor na gumanap kay Shaider, si Hiroshi Tsuburaya...he was very much idolized, especially among twenty-something Pinoys (excluding me, of course, twenty lang naman ako).

Kailingan ko nang matulog, maaga pa kasi ako gigising bukas...mga 10 am :) I have to go to UST tomorrow ng mas maaga, kasi babalik pa kong OR.

* Charlie Brown's trademark is that he's perpetually depressed, as in most of the time, he mopes around. Kasi he's not good at sports, and minsan, ayaw pa ni Snoopy sa kanya. He's usually seen consulting the help of Lucy van pelt for psychiatric help, who charges him 5 cents a session...Ang maganda sa Peanuts strip, the characters are kids, but they act like adults, di ba? Di mo sila makikita naglalaro ng toys, unlike sa Rugrats. They don't talk the way 7 year old usually do. Ang cute pa nila, ang laki ng ulo.
